Hi, reading "Hairspringing by A.Z." 1993 Arlington books.
On page 4 6th paragraph "in the absence of a Bottom's Gauge
"" I looked high and low in all my books no mention. sounds like an arbor loose fit in jewels with a strong hair spring and a place to attatch the hairspring to be tested, is rotated one turn and the reading is from 60 segments around the dial. ok i understand, but anybody got a picture or a diagram? thanks brian f.
