This is a rather rare watchmakers gauge. It was made by Marburg, Flushing, NY. It is marked catalog No. 18. Mr. Marburg was a watchmaker who was more into being a machinist. He designed and manufactured these tools while at the same time running a full time watch repair business. The watchmaker who taught me the trade worked for Mr. Marburg as a Certified Master Watchmaker. This man was Joseph A. Saitta. After he left Mr. Marburg, he opened his own watch repair business also located in New York.
