Due to the fact that these old vintage style Rolex watches present us with material supply issues, and the fact that some customers seem to think that we can service these watches in the same manner as newer Rolex watches, we have determined that we will NO LONGER service these vintage watches.
These Rolex watches, only include the "Bubble Back" styles that were produced in the 1940's to the 1950's. We will continue to service all other Rolex watches.
While some parts remain available, such as mainsprings, some crystals, and after market items like case tubes, we simply can no longer be assured that we can get the more critical replacement parts. Due to this, we will only furnish overhaul service on these vintage style Rolex watches.
One must also take into account, that if Rolex will not service these watches, why should we? In most cases, these watches have far outlived their lives as a reliable timepiece. Also, Rolex no longer has parts for these watches.
Therefore, as of today, July 15, 2005, we will no longer service any vintage Rolex that is in need of anything more than general maintenance. We will continue to provide cleaning, and regulation to the best of the watches ability to maintain accurate time.
We apologize that we had to make this change. However, by doing so, it only makes it better for those customers who have newer Rolex watches. Without the stumbling block of old worn out vintage Rolex watches getting in our way, we can better serve our regular Rolex customers that appreciate our work and our efforts to accomplish a superior Rolex repair.
Thank you for understanding.
