I know that there are people or collectors that like data on differences on pocket watches of the same models. With this in mind, I am posting some
information on two of these watches as it relates to upper pillar plate jewel settings.
Both of these watches are P. S. Bartlett models and both are model 1857's that were made by the American Waltham watch company. Here is what I have noted about the jewels. Please note that both of these watches have the very large port hole types of settings.
Serial number 511549. This watch has white or clear colored jewels.
Serial number 705598. This watch has Red colored jewels.
Both watches have the Fogg's Patent.
