First Class/Priority Mail

Mail consisting of handwritten and typewritten matter, bills and statements of accounts up to 13 oz. are considered first- class mail.

Envelope Dimensions:
All mail must be at least .007 of an inch thick, 3 1/2" high and 5" long. It cannot exceed 6 1/8" in height by 11 1/2" in length or a surcharge will be charged. Postcards exceeding 4 1/4" by 6" require postage at the same rate as a letter.

Priority Mail:
All First Class mail weighing over 13 ounces is called Priority Mail. The maximum weight is 70 pounds with size limited to 108" in combined length and girth. The rate is determined by weight and distance.

Please note that Priority Mail can take longer than the 3 business day Postal Service claim. It is also a well known fact that First Class mail often times arrives 13 hours faster than Priority Mail addressed to the same address or location. (Source: Wall Street Journal)
